A New Challenge

It was only 5 short months ago that I joined the team over at GetAds.  I’ve known them for years and it was a natural fit.  In fact, things have gone so well that I was promoted this week to Marketing Manager.  This is going to be an awesome challenge and opportunity for me to help grow the company as a whole, but I will be pulling back from managing affiliate accounts.  The good news is, if you were working with me as an affiliate (or thinking about signing up), you will still be able to work with one of top AM’s in the industry.  We only hire the best at GetAds.

So what will I be doing as Marketing Manager?  For one, I’ll be taking over the GetAds Blog.  If you haven’t read it before, definitely add it to your RSS reader.  I’ll be blogging there regularly and there will be exclusive posts you can’t find anywhere else.  I also am taking over our ad campaigns.  The goal is to have as many active affiliates as humanly possible in our network.  I will be in charge of promotions and contests, and other snazzy stuff to try and get you to run with GetAds.

Bottom line, my job is to increase the revenue for the company as a whole.  It will be a definite switch from working with affiliates as an AM on a daily basis, but I’m looking forward to the challenge and I’m grateful for the opportunity.  I’m always about trying new things and finding new ways to make more money for myself and my company.

Don’t worry, I’m still running affiliate campaigns on the side, and I’ll still be blogging here regularly as well.  So don’t touch that dial.  I just wanted to give you an update on what’s going on, in case you are one of my affiliates and suddenly logged in to see a different pic up in the top right-hand corner.

Introducing TriFoxMedia

Ever since I started my first Affiliate Manager job, I’ve wanted to start my own network.  The timing wasn’t right initially, and I wanted to learn as much as I could about the industry and the business of running a network.  I am excited to say that the time has come and TriFoxMedia Affiliate Network is officially open for business.

So what’s different about TriFoxMedia?  It’s built on the philosophy that you should do what you say, when you say you’re going to do it.  Our motto is, “Integrity, Trust, Profits.”  Profits definitely figure into the equation, we all want to make money.  The difference here is, I’m not going to do that at the cost of my integrity or your trust.

I will never, and I do mean never shave or steal leads.  We are only in business for our affiliates, and without them there would be no network.

Furthermore, I am available 24/7 for my affiliates.  My cell phone number is 303-710-5813 and my AIM is TriFoxMedia.  If I’m not online, the AIM will forward to my cell phone, which I have on me at all times.  You will never have to wait for 2 days to get a pixel placed.  With TriFoxMedia, you can place the pixel yourself, or you can send it to me and I will place it ASAP.  That includes weekends.  Just shoot me an AIM or text and let me know.

Bottom line, I will do anything that needs to be done in order to make this your network.  It’s time to make some money, so sign up right away and let’s get going!

Server Change Successful!

I made the transistion from WordPress.com over to a self-hosted WordPress installation today, and my database survived intact!  It was not my first time setting up a WP installation or anything, but it’s always nasty when you have to transfer databases…  Not too many changes on the blog for now, although I am looking forward to finding a theme that works better for me, so you might see some more drastic visual changes coming up.

Also, this blog is going to be more of a priority for me going forward.  So far I’ve done a few useful posts, but mostly industry news stuff.  I like doing the news stuff so I will keep doing that, but I am going to do my best to share my experiences on the affiliate side of the game.

I want to have the whole package.  I want to be a successful A.M. for affiliate.com, and I want to be a successful internet marketer by any other means possible as well.  I will be posting different marketing tricks and my experience with them to help save you time when you decide to get the ball rolling on a new traffic stream.

So grab a chair, stick around, and feel free to leave a comment once in a while.  If I know what you guys are dying to learn, then I can step up and take a swing at it myself.  First up, I am experimenting with the fascinating (and sometimes confusing) world of PPV, or Contextual advertising.  There will be a full post on this coming up soon.  I just need to do some fine tuning on my campaigns before I spill the beans.

Oh, and if I don’t speak to you sooner, Merry Christmas!
