PPV 101 – Everything You Need

by Josh Todd on July 7, 2010

Well in case you missed the giant lightbox pop-up when you arrived here, my new guide PPV 101 is now available.  Am I selling out? No. Am I becoming a guru? No. This is not to give you any over-hyped information on how to make millions of dollars online (although it is completely possible), this is for people that are looking for a no-nonsense guide to setting up their first campaign with PPV and Affiliate Marketing.

Never heard of PPV before? That’s fine. Never heard of Affiliate Marketing before? That’s fine too. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know.

easy button

Why am I doing this now? Because as an Affiliate Manager and Blogger I constantly get new people asking me how to setup their first campaign.  Since it would be impossible for me to walk each one through the process step-by-step, I spent the last few days putting this guide together.  Here’s what it covers:

  • Affiliate Marketing Basics
  • PPV Basics
  • Choosing Your Offer
  • Setting Up Tracking with Prosper202
  • Finding Your Target URLs
  • Creating the Campaign at the PPV Network
  • Launching Your Campaign
  • Testing & Optimizing Your Campaign

So whether you are an intermediate marketer just trying to get your first big campaign to break, or someone completely new, go ahead and give it a shot.  It only costs an email address.  In case you missed it the first time on the pop-up, you can signup here.

Josh it was a pretty good read. I know you like directcpv but I've found their traffic quality to be downright shit. Nothing seems to convert for me there. Regardless thanks for the tips.

You can apply the tips to any PPV network you choose. I chose DirectCPV because I think it's a good place for beginners to get their feet wet.

That was a very compelling report – I'm impressed! I've been in IM for just over four years so trust me, I've read some lame stuff. The writing is clear, the instructions are simple, and I'm going to try out a few campaigns this weekend. I appreciate the quality of your work!
