Thanks Josh..will go through the rest of your posts…reason I ask is I have tried promoting various types of CPA offers using targeted URLs. I ended up getting lotsa impressions, but no conversions….

Most CPA networks do allow PPV/Contextual/DLS traffic these days, you just need to make sure with your Affiliate Manager that the campaign you want to run allows it. Also, PPV can be very targeted. You want to target URLs instead of just run of network pop up traffic. Read my other posts on this blog about PPV for more info.

Hi, I just read your post and had a general question about PPV.

I briefly looked into this a while ago, but was discouraged by a few people for two reasons:-

* most CPA networks don't allow PPV traffic

* It hardly converts and is completely hit and miss

Again, this is not my position, but just what other marketers have adviced me. I would be interested in any thoughts you might have on the above….
